8. Install a new thermostat with the bleed hole r
positioned closest to the engine.

9. Reverse this procedure for installation. Torque
thermostat cover bolts to specification.
TORQUE
Thermostat Cover Bolts:
7 ft-lb (10 Nm)

10.Be sure to properly fill and bleed cooling system as
outlined in this chapter.
