29. Using the Snorkel Tool (PA-50231), fully loosen the 33. Remove the snap ring (A) and shim (B) retaining the
snorkel tube. bearing in the snorkel tube.

30. Remove the snorkel tube and shaft assembly from 34. Lightly tap on the bearing from the opposite side to
the transmission case. remove it from the snorkel tube.

31. Remove the snap ring (Y) and shim (Z) from the
snorkel shaft.

32. Use an arbor press to remove the snorkel tube from
the snorkel shaft.
