2. Remove the four fasteners w retaining the stabilizer 9. Torque the bushing retaining nut on the upper/lower
bar bracket to the frame. Remove the bushing and stabilizer bar linkage to specification.

3. Remove the stabilizer bar from the vehicle.
Stabilizer Bushing Retaining Nut:
NOTE 37 ft-lbs (50 Nm)
Rotate the stabilize bar 180 degrees so the linkage hole
e is facing rearward to aid in stabilizer bar removal.

4. Inspect the stabilizer bar for straightness. Inspect the
bushings and replace if needed.
5. Inspect the rubber bushings on the linkage rod and
replace if needed.
6. If replacing the stabilizer bar linkage, remove the nut
r retaining the lower stabilizer bar link to the shock
mount.

7. Reverse the procedure for installation.
8. Torque the stabilizer mounting nuts to specification.

TORQUE
Stabilizer Mounting Bolt:
18 ft-lb (24 Nm)
