15. Using a T20 Torx driver, remove the screws that 18. Remove the output gear (U) and gear cluster

assemblies straight up.
16. Using a T27 Torx driver, remove the screws that 19. Place the gear cluster assembly on a clean surface
secure the output gear (U). for inspection.
17. Remove the shift drum (V) from the gearcase by
moving the drum up and to the right to clear the shift
shaft.
