NOTE
It is important to have zero lash between the output
gear and the snorkel shaft gear. If there is binding or
excess lash, tighten or loosen the snorkel shaft until
there is zero lash.
Do not overtighten the snorkel tube. Gears should
rotate freely without binding.
8. Look down into the gearcase at the snorkel locking
screw hole opening to reference your starting point.
