HEADLIGHT POD

HEADLIGHT POD EXPLODED VIEW

Disassembly 2. Install key switch, choke cable, and headlight

1. Remove two side Phillips screws (A) 3. Connect 12Vdc power outlet (where applicable).
2. Remove one rear Phillips screw (B) 4. Connect headlight.
3. Lift top half of pod 5. Connect instrument cluster connectors to instrument 10
cluster.
4. Disconnect instrument cluster wire connectors
6. Install top of pod onto bottom half, making sure
5. Disconnect work light switch connector
interlocking tabs mate properly.
6. Disconnect 12Vdc power plug (G)
7. Install two side Phillips screws.
7. Disconnect headlight harness
8. Install one rear Phillips screw.
8. Remove ignition switch (C) and choke cable (D)
9. To adjust headlight, refer to procedure outlined in
9. Remove headlight (F) with adjuster Chapter 2.
10.Remove two screws securing bottom half of pod (E)
Assembly
1. Install bottom of pod onto handlebar and secure to
brackets.
