HEAVY DUTY (HD) MODEL MAINTENANCE
QUICK REFERENCE
Some ATVs are equipped with heavy duty (HD) compo-
nents designated for international use.
Greaseable Strut Ball Joints
The ball joints are installed into greaseable strut
housings. Follow the General Lubrication interval in the
periodic maintenance chart and apply Premium All 1. O-Ring
Season Grease to these fittings.
Sealed Control Arm Bushings
The control arm pivot bushings are sealed to prevent
foreign material from entering the pivot shaft.

Sealed Front/Rear Driveshaft Splines
The ends of the front and rear driveshafts that install into
the gearcases feature o-rings to prevent foreign material
from entering the splines.
