BRAKE SYSTEM

MASTER CYLINDER CAUTION

Brake fluid will damage finished surfaces. Do not allow
MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL
brake fluid to come in contact with finished surfaces.
1. Remove the hood and the storage compartment.
2. Locate the master cylinder q behind the battery box.
NOTE
Make note of front and rear brake line locations to
master cylinder.

5. Loosen the brake line banjo bolts and allow fluid to
drain.
NOTE
Dispose of fluid properly. Do not re-use.

6. Remove the two mounting fasteners t that secure
the master cylinder to the frame.

3. Remove the clip w from the clevis pin e that
attaches the master cylinder to the brake pedal lever.

4. Place a container to catch brake fluid under the
master cylinder brake line banjo bolts r.
