MAINTENANCE

1. From the canister filter, route fuel vent line under fuel FUEL PUMP / FUEL FILTERS
purge and fuel EVAP lines. Secure vent line to the The fuel pump assembly is located in the fuel tank under

This engine uses a serviceable, high-volume, high-
pressure, fuel pump that includes a preliminary filter w
and an internal fine filter e located before the pump 2
regulator.

2. Route vent line up the lower rocker tube, and secure
with two hinge clips w.
3. Route vent line along outside of the intake and attach
the vent line to the fitting e in the frame.

Cycle the ignition key to pressurize the fuel pump in
accordance with the periodic maintenance chart. Inspect
pump for damage or leaks.

NOTE
Neither filter is serviceable individually. Must replace
the fuel pump as an assembly.
Refer to Chapter 4 for fuel pump replacement and all
other information related to the EFI System.
