CAUTION PISTON / ROD INSPECTION

PISTON-TO-CYLINDER CLEARANCE
1. Measure the outside diameter of the piston 9.5 mm
up the skirt and at a right angle to the direction of the
piston pin.

Piston Pin O.D.:
Std:0 .724 –0 .740″ (18.4 – 18.8 mm)
Service Limit:0 .710″ (18.036 mm)

2. Subtract this measurement from the maximum
cylinder size measurement from cylinder inspection.
Piston to Cylinder Clearance:
.0003 - .002″ (.008 - .062 mm)
Piston O.D.:
3.068 - 3.07″ (77.946 – 77.984 mm)
