FUEL SYSTEM

                   ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL

                   ETC SERVICE PRECAUTION                                connector. Refer to the wire diagram for pin-out details. If

                     Always disconnect power from the Electronic Throttle  ETC REPLACEMENT

                      Placing fingers or other body parts in the ETC while
                            power is connected may lead to injury.       2. Remove the airbox and breather box (if equipped).
                                                                         3. Disconnect the wire harness from the ETC.


                   ETC OVERVIEW

                    DO NOTattempt to service the ETC. The ETC is a non-
                     serviceable component and can only be tested using
                        Digital Wrench®. If the ETC is faulty, the entire
                                assembly must be replaced.









                                                                         4. Remove the 4 bolts retaining the ETC housing to
                                                                            intake .
                                                                         5. Reverse these steps for installation. Torque the ETC
                                                                            housing retaining bolts and intake boot clamp to
                                                                            specification.
                                                                                             TORQUE
