ENGINE INTAKE PRE-FILTER SERVICE AIR FILTER SERVICE
It is recommended that the engine intake pre-filter be Inspect the air filter at the intervals outlined in the
inspected daily. The filter should be inspected using the Periodic Maintenance Chart. In extremely dusty
following procedure: conditions, air filter replacement will be required more
often.
1. The engine intake pre-filter is located just above the
right rear wheel fender. 1. Remove seats. 2
2. Inspect the pre-filter on the outboard q and inboard 2. Remove upper rear close off panel q.
w sides. If necessary, clean with soapy water and air
dry.

3. Disengage five cover latches w.

CAUTION
Compressed air or high pressure hose may damage the
frog skin pre-filter on the intake.

4. Pull cover outward far enough to remove air filter e.
