9. Loosen two hose clamps and remove rubber hose u FUEL TANK INSTALLATION
from the fuel tank.
1. Reverse the removal procedure for fuel tank
installation.
TORQUE
Fuel Tank Fasteners:
15 ft-lbs (20 Nm)

TORQUE
Body Panel Fasteners:
7 ft-lbs (10 Nm)

TORQUE
Seat Base Frame Fasteners:
15 ft-lbs (20 Nm)
10.Remove any remaining fasteners retaining the fuel
tank to the frame.
TORQUE
11. Lift the rear of the fuel tank up first. Carefully pull the
fuel tank out of the vehicle. Shift Knob Fastener:
35 in-lbs (4 Nm)

TORQUE
Shift Knob Fastener:
13 ft-lb (18 Nm)

TORQUE
Battery Cable Fasteners:
60 in-lbs (7 Nm)
