ENGINE DISASSEMBLY / INSPECTION - TOP END

VALVE COVER REMOVAL CAMSHAFT REMOVAL

NOTE NOTE
The valve cover can be removed with the engine The camshafts can be removed with the engine

1. Remove the four valve cover shoulder bolts q and 1. Rotate the engine so the PTO cylinder is at Top

2. Replace isolators w when they are removed and
replace valve cover seal e if oil leaks are evident.

3. Remove the spark plugs r. Stuff spark plug holes
with shop towels to prevent anything from falling into 2. Remove the hydraulic cam chain tensioner w from
the combustion chamber. the cylinder. Replace the sealing washer e upon
reassembly.
