FUEL SYSTEM

FUEL TANK INSTALLATION RZR XP 4 1000 TORQUE

1. Carefully reinstall the fuel tank assembly. Install the Fuel Tank Strap Screw
inner tank bracket with the fuel tank to ensure the 8 ft-lbs (11 Nm)
bracket is inserted properly into the lower fuel tank
mount.
8. Reinstall rear and front center console, shift knob and

plastic rivets and torque screws to specification. TORQUE

TORQUE Seat Belt Mechanism Bolt:
40 ft-lbs (54 Nm)
Block-off Panel Screws
8 ft-lbs (11 Nm)
10.Reinstall right rocker panel and all previously
removed fasteners.
5. Reinstall the seat base frame and torque fasteners to
specification. 11. Reconnect the fuel line and fuel pump electrical
harness. Verify connections are secure.
TORQUE
12.Reinstall the battery and battery bracket. Torque
Seat Base Frame fasteners fastener to specification.
8 ft-lbs (11 Nm)
TORQUE
6. Install regulator and fuse box to the block-off panel. Battery Bracket:
Torque fasteners to specification. 8 ft-lbs (11 Nm)

TORQUE
13.Install seats and test the fuel pump by turning the
Regulator/Fuse Box fasteners ignition key on and listening for the pump to activate.
5 ft-lb (7 Nm) Check the fuel line fittings for leaks.

7. Install fuel tank strap screw. Torque screw to
specification.
