BRAKE PAD INSPECTION ASSEMBLY
1. Lubricate mounting bracket pins with a light film of
1. Check the brake pads for wear, damage, or
looseness. disc brake caliper lube, and install rubber dust boots.
2. Inspect the brake pad wear surface for excessive
wear.

2. Compress mounting bracket and make sure dust
boots are fully seated. Install pads with friction
material facing each other.
MEASUREMENT WARNING
Brake Pad If pads are contaminated with grease, oil, or liquid
.030″ (0.762 mm) soaked do not use the pads. Use only new clean pads.

3. If any one pad is less than the service limit then all
pads should be replaced.
