FUEL SYSTEM

TORQUE 31.Install LH rocker panel. Install five T40 Torx screws
and one push dart retaining the rocker panel. Torque
Front Fender Screws screws to specification.
8 ft-lbs (11 Nm)
TORQUE
22.Install the latch striker. Torque fasteners to LH Close-off Panel Screws
specification.
8 ft-lbs (11 Nm)
TORQUE
32.Install the gas cap.

33.Install battery electrical connections. Torque battery
8 ft-lbs (11 Nm) terminal fasteners to specification.

23.Install the console, three push darts, and seven T40 TORQUE
Torx screws retaining the console. Torque screws to Battery Terminal Fasteners
specification.

34.Install hood.

35.Install LH and RH rear fenders.
8 ft-lbs (11 Nm) 36.Install seat and test the fuel pump by turning the
ignition key on and listening for the pump to activate.
24.Reconnect electrical connectors for the accessory Check the fuel line fittings for leaks.
light switch, headlight switch, AWD switch, and
ignition switch. Be sure the connectors snap into
place.
25.Install ECU harness connectors and install the ECU
onto the console. Torque screws to specification.

24 in-lb (3 Nm)

26.Install the upper dash panels, lower dash panels, and
visor panel. Torque fasteners to specification.

8 ft-lbs (11 Nm)

27.Install wiring connector to the 12V receptacle.
28.Install any accessory connectors into their relay caps.
29.Install the RH rocker panel. Install three T40 Torx
screws and two push darts retaining the rocker panel.
Torque screws to specification.

TORQUE
Rocker Panel Screws
8 ft-lbs (11 Nm)

30.Install RH close-off panel. Install five T40 Torx screws
mounting close-off panel to the console. Torque
screws to specification.
