TRANSMISSION SERVICE

TRANSMISSION REMOVAL 5. Drain the engine coolant into an appropriate
container by removing the water pump hose.
1. Park the vehicle on a flat level surface.
2. Turn the 1/4 turn hinges on the battery access panel.

CAUTION
3. Lift the rear of the access panel up and pull towards
front of vehicle to remove. Do not allow hot engine coolant to come into contact
with skin, as serious burns may result.

6. Remove the right hand and left hand rear fenders by
turning the 1/4 turn hinges and unhooking the two
straps.

4. Remove front storage box and disconnect the
negative battery cable.
