8. Remove the five remaining bolts y that attach the REAR BEARING REPLACEMENT
rear bearing carrier to the trailing arm. Discard the Bearing Removal
nuts.
1. Remove the outer snap ring q.
9. Remove the bearing carrier from the rear drive shaft
and trailing arm. 2. From the back side of the bearing carrier, tap on the
outer bearing race with a drift punch in the reliefs as
shown.

10.Rotate bearing by hand and check for smooth
rotation. Visually inspect bearing for moisture, dirt, or
corrosion. 3. Drive bearing out evenly by tapping on outer race
only. Once bearing is at bottom of casting, support

CAUTION
Use an arbor and press only on the outer race,
