CHARGE AIR COOLER REMOVAL 5. Remove three hinge clips t from the transmission
vent line.
1. Remove the exhaust pipe. See Exhaust Pipe
Removal page 3.16.
2. Place a drain pan under the rear of the vehicle and
remove both hoses q going to the charge air cooler
and allow coolant to drain.

6. Disconnect ignition coils y , fuel injectors u and
TMAP sensor i. Move the assembly off to the side.

3. Cut the three zip ties retaining the harness w , the
two zip ties e retaining the harness on the top of the
intake manifold and the two zip ties rretaining the
harness on the passenger side of the intake manifold.

7. Disconnect the transmission switch, speed sensor
and CPS.
8. Remove the fasteners o retaining the intake
manifold to the transmission.

4. Remove the cargo box.

9. Remove the two fasteners a retaining the fuel rail to
the intake manifold.
