3. Lift bearing (C) and thrust washers (D) off shaft.
Replace as an assembly if worn, damaged, or if
problems were noted.

MEASUREMENT
Shaft Diameter:
Standard: 1.3745” - 1.375” (34.91 - 34.93 mm)
Service Limit: 1.3730” (34.87 mm)
ETX units: 1.4970”- 1.4980” (38.02 - 38.04 mm)
Service Limit: 1.4955” (37.98 mm)

5. Visually inspect VESPEL® thrust washers for
damage. Measure the thickness and compare to
specification. Replace if worn or damaged.
NOTE
ETX units are not equipped with VESPEL®
washers.

MEASUREMENT
VESPEL® Washer Thickness
Standard: .030” (.76 mm)
Service Limit: .025” (.64 mm)
