PVT SYSTEM


                   6. To achieve optimal belt alignment, add or remove   12.Retest for PVT creeping and/or harsh gear selector

                                        installed.

                   7. Install the driven clutch bolt q, flat washer w, and
                      offset washer(s) e. Torque the bolt to specification.
                                        TORQUE
                                   Driven Clutch Bolt:                                                                        5
                                     38 ft-lbs (52 Nm)

                   8. Retest for PVT creeping and/or harsh gear selector                     TORQUE
                      engagement. If symptoms persist, proceed to step 9.
                                                                                    Front Engine Mount Isolators:
                   9. While using the Drive Clutch Holding Tool (PN                        23 ft-lbs (31 Nm)
                      9314177–A) to hold the drive clutch, remove the drive
                      clutch bolt and hardware. Remove the drive clutch
                      assembly.                                          14.Retest for PVT creeping and/or harsh gear selector
                                                                            engagement. If symptoms persist, or if no issues
                                                                            were found in step 11, proceed to step 15.
                                                                         15.Remove the inner clutch cover. Refer to Disassembly,
                                                                            page 5.16.
                                                                         16.Remove the center bolt t on the rear engine mount.














                   10.Clean inner shaft taper with reamer (PS-48587).
                      Ensure the drive clutch taper and PTO crank nose
                      are clean and free of chips or burrs.
                   11. Reinstall the drive clutch bolt and hardware. While
                      using the Drive Clutch Holding Tool (PN 9314177–A)
                      to hold the drive clutch, torque the drive clutch bolt to  17.Inspect the rear engine mount isolators y (PN
                      specification.                                        5415404) for looseness, cracking, or tears. Replace if
                                                                            necessary.
                                        TORQUE
                                    Drive Clutch Bolt:                                       TORQUE
                                     45 ft-lbs (61 Nm)                              Rear Engine Mount Fasteners:
                                                                                           23 ft-lbs (31 Nm)
