A-ARM REPLACEMENT - FRONT 6. Loosen two bolts on A-arm tube by alternating each
1. Elevate and safely support vehicle with weight about 1/3 of the way until A-arm can be removed.

2. Remove Wheel.
3. Remove cotter pin from ball joint stud at wheel end of
A-arm and loosen nut until it is flush with end of stud.
4. Using a soft face hammer, tap nut to loosen A-arm
from ball joint. Remove nut.

7. Examine A-arm shaft. Replace if worn. Discard
hardware.
8. Insert A-arm shaft into new A-arm.

5. Separate the hub strut assembly from the A-arm.

9. Transfer CV joint shields to new A-arm.

NOTE
Take care when separating A-arm from hub strut
assembly to not damage ball joint boot.
