CAUTION TORQUE
The locking agent on the existing bolts was destroyed A-Arm Fasteners, SP:
during removal. DO NOT reuse old hardware. Serious 37 ft-lbs (50 Nm)
injury or death could result if fasteners come loose
during operation.
13.Insert upper A-arm ball joint end into bearing carrier.
Install new washer and castle nut. Torque new castle
9. If not replacing the A-arm, thoroughly clean the A-arm nut to specification.
and pivot shafts.
10.Install new ball joint into A-arm. Refer to “Ball Joint
Replacement” section.
11. Insert new bushings and pivot shafts into new A-arm.

12.Install new upper A-arm assembly onto vehicle frame.
Torque new bolts to specification.
