TRANSMISSION

TRANSMISSION INSTALLATION 6. Install inner PVTcover.

1. Install transmission into the chassis through the
driver’s side.
2. Install rear transmission mount to the frame bracket.
Torque fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Rear Transmission Mount Fasteners:
22 ft-lb (30 Nm)

3. Install transmission isolator bolt through the
transmission bracket and isolator. Torque fasteners to
specification.
TORQUE
Rear Transmission Isolator Fasteners: TORQUE
33 ft-lb (45 Nm)
PVT Inner Cover Fasteners:
STEP 1: Torque to 37 ft-lbs (50 Nm).
4. Loosely install fasteners retaining inner cover to the STEP 2: Install through bolts by adjusting the
transmission and engine/trans joint. transmission accordingly.
STEP 3: If previously removed, loosely install bolts
by hand.
STEP 4: Torque to 50 ft-lbs (68 Nm).
STEP 5: Torque to 50 ft-lbs (68 Nm).
STEP 6: If previously removed, torque to 37 ft-lbs
(50 Nm)

7. Install inner PVTcover baffle. Torque fasteners to
specification.

5. Loosely install the three allen screws 2! and washers
2@ retaining inner cover to engine.

TORQUE
Inner PVT Cover Baffle Fasteners:
7 ft-lbs (10 Nm)
