6. Remove the clutch housing / ring gear and roll cage 8. Remove pinion seal, internal retaining ring and
assembly from the gearcase housing. pinion gear assembly from the gearcase housing.
Inspect and clean the gearcase housing and replace
all oil seals and O-rings.
7. Remove the RH output hub assembly from the
gearcase housing.
9. Inspect the pinion gear for chipped, broken or
missing teeth. Inspect the pinion bearing for signs of
wear and the pinion shaft seal surface for pitting.
