CAUTION
Be sure the oil seal is fully seated in cover or severe
engine damage may result

8. Use the water pump mechanical seal installation tool
in kit to fully install the new water pump mechanical
seal (J) until it is fully seated in the cover.
Water Pump Mechanical / Oil Seal Installation Kit:
PU-50869

6. Lubricate the new water pump oil seal with clean
engine oil.

9. Install a new stator cover gasket onto the engine.
