PROP SHAFT SERVICE 6. Remove lower fastener r from rear left-hand shock
assembly, and pivot the shock out of the way.
PROP SHAFT REMOVAL

Front Prop Shaft Removal
1. Remove the seat.
2. Remove eight Tuflok fasteners q and remove the
prop shaft access panel w.

7. Loosen two worm clamps t and remove clutch
intake duct y from the outer clutch cover.

3. Remove left rear fender (see Rear Fender, page
10.12 in the Body / Frame chapter).
4. Raise the vehicle.
5. Remove four lug nuts e and remove left rear wheel.

8. Remove nine fasteners u and remove outer clutch
cover.
