INSPECTION
It is important that the same number and thickness of
washers are reinstalled beneath the spider during Inspect all rollers, bushings and roller pins by pulling a

2. Inspect the Teflon™ coating on the moveable sheave
bushing.

BUTTON TO TOWER CLEARANCE
INSPECTION

1. Inspect for any clearance between spider button to
tower. If clearance exists, replace all buttons and
inspect surface of towers.

Moveable Sheave Bushing Inspection:
Replace the cover bushing if more brass than Teflon is
visible on the bushing. Refer to bushing replacement in
this chapter.
