IMPORTANT
The driven clutch springs are unique to each clutch. Driven clutch compression springs ARE NOT
INTERCHANGABLE between early build2013 vehicles (built on or before 09/09/12) andlate build2013 vehicles
(built on or after 09/10/12).

Early build 2013 driven clutch assemblies use a shorter compression spring (3.85”/ 98 mm – Red/White color) and a
washer. Late build 2013+ driven clutch assemblies use a longer compression spring (3.95”/ 100 mm – Black color) and
no washer. Installing the early build spring in the later build clutch may cause excessive belt slip resulting in hour-
glassing and belt glazing. Installing the later build spring in early build clutch may cause additional belt heat and high
engine RPM resulting in shortened belt life and cord pop-out.
