HEAD PIPE / TURBO REMOVAL 5. Remove two fasteners r and remove the coolant
inlet hose t and outlet hose y.
1. Remove the exhaust pipe. See Exhaust Pipe
Removal page 3.16 outlined in this chapter.
2. Remove two P-clip fasteners retaining the oil feed line
to the turbo bracket assembly.

6. Remove two fasteners u retaining turbo bracket to
the turbo.
7. Loosen four fasteners i on the engine mounting
bracket and pivot the top of the turbo bracket forward.
3. Remove two hoses q from the turbo going to the
boost control valve. Mark hoses for correct
reinstallation to the boost control valve.
4. Remove the banjo bolt w retaining the oil inlet hose
and remove the oil drain hose e.

8. Remove two fasteners o and remove the lower turbo
heat shield.

CAUTION
Use caution when removing oil feed line to avoid
bending/damaging the hard line.

IMPORTANT
The oil line sealing washers MUST be replaced any
time the oil line/fitting is removed. Use only the
recommended washers shown in the Polaris Electronic
Parts Catalog.
