Heat Shield Fasteners:
8 ft-lb (11 Nm)

6. Install the turbocharger oil drain hose and loosely
install the banjo bolt retaining the oil inlet hose. Leave
banjo bolt loosely installed.
IMPORTANT
The oil line sealing washers MUST be replace any time
the oil line/fitting is removed. Use only the
recommended washers shown in the Polaris Electronic
Parts Catalog.
TORQUE
7. Install upper P-clip bracket onto the turbo bracket Lower P-clip Fastener:
standoff bolt. Rotate oil feed line for P-clip alignment, 35 in-lb (4 Nm)
if needed. Torque upper P-clip fastener to
specification.
10.Install coolant inlet and outlet hoses onto the turbo.
Torque fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Turbo Coolant Line Fasteners:
7 ft-lbs (10 Nm)

11. Install the two hoses from the turbo going to the
wastegate solenoid. Install new Oetiker clamps.
12.Install the four fasteners retaining the exhaust pipe to
the turbocharger. Torque fasteners to specification.

IMPORTANT
Apply anti-seize on exhaust pipe to turbo joint and
fasteners.
CAUTION
Use caution when rotating oil feed line to avoid TORQUE
bending/damaging the hard line. Exhaust Pipe to Turbo Fasteners:
18 ft-lb (24 Nm)
TORQUE
Upper P-clip Fastener: 13.Install the two fasteners retaining the heat shield to
7 ft-lbs (10 Nm) the exhaust pipe / turbo joint.
14.Install fasteners retaining the heat shield above the
valve cover.
8. Torque oil feed line banjo bolt to specification.
15.Install two fasteners retaining the engine heat shield
TORQUE
above O2 sensor. Torque heat shield fasteners to
Turbo Oil Line Banjo Bolt: specification.
33 ft-lb (45 Nm)
TORQUE
Heat Shield Fasteners:
8 ft-lb (11 Nm)
