FINAL DRIVE

5. Install the ball joint pinch bolts u and torque to CAUTION
specification.
New bolts have a pre-applied locking agent which is
destroyed upon removal. Always use new brake caliper
mounting bolts upon assembly.

10. Install wheel and four wheel nuts. Torque wheel nuts
to specification.
TORQUE

Wheel Nuts:
RZR 570 Steel Rims: 36 ft-lbs (49 Nm)
RZR 570 EPS Alum. Rims: 120 ft-lb (163 Nm)
RZR S 570 Alum. Rims: 30 ft-lbs (41 Nm) + 90°

11. Rotate wheel and check for smooth operation. Bend
both ends of cotter pin around end of spindle in
TORQUE different directions.
Ball Joint Pinch Bolts: REAR DRIVE SHAFT REMOVAL
23 ft-lb (31 Nm)
1. Elevate rear of vehicle and safely support machine
6. Apply grease to drive shaft axle splines. under the frame area.
7. Install front wheel hub assembly, cone washers e, CAUTION
and hand tighten the castle nut w. Install washers Serious injury may result if machine tips or falls. Be
with domed side out. sure machine is secure before beginning this service
procedure. Wear eye protection when removing
bearings and seals.

2. Remove the four wheel nuts and remove the rear
wheel.
3. Remove the cotter pin q and rear wheel hub castle
nut w. Remove the two cone washers e from the
rear wheel hub assembly.

8. Torque wheel hub nut to specification and install a
new cotter pin. Tighten nut slightly if necessary to
align cotter pin holes.

TORQUE
Front Wheel Hub Castle Nut:
80 ft-lb (108 Nm)

9. Install brake caliper mounting bolts and torque to
specification.
TORQUE
Front Caliper Mounting Bolts:
30 ft-lbs (41 Nm)
