TRANSMISSION

19.Install fasteners retaining the intake manifold lower 24.Install the four rear radius rods to the bearing carriers
mount to the transmission bracket. Torque fasteners on each side. Use new retaining fasteners d. Torque
to specification. to specification.

TORQUE
Intake Manifold:
22 ft-lb (30 Nm)

20.Install inner clutch cover, outlet duct, drive clutch,
driven clutch, belt and outer clutch cover (see
Chapter 5 – PVT Assemblypage 5.11).
21.Install new spring ring a on rear drive shafts. Apply
an anti-seize compound to the splines s.

TORQUE

Radius Rod Bolts:
M10: 40 ft-lb (54 Nm)
M12 (outer): 50 ft-lb + 90° (68 Nm + 90°)

25.Install the stabilizer bar link mounting bolts and new
nuts f. Torque to specification.

22.Swing the rear trailing arm out and up. Align the
splines of the drive shaft with the transmission
splines. Push inward on the trailing arm assembly
until the rear drive shafts lock into the transmission
splines.
23.Install the rear shocks onto the trailing arms and
install the lower mounting bolts with new retaining
nuts. Torque to specification.
TORQUE
Rear Shock Lower Bolt:
70 ft-lbs (95 Nm)
TORQUE
Stabilizer Bar Linkage:
40 ft-lbs (54 Nm)

26.Safely lower the vehicle.
